Washington Post just announced that Google has exceeded 7 million signatures on the petition against the Sopa & Pipa acts which will mess up most of the internet. If you would like to sign the petition and you haven't yet, go to this link: https://www.google.com/landing/takeaction/
This is very important that Google gets as much signatures as possible, because if they pass the bill, I am sure my blog along with many others- not just wizard101- will be taken down. That would be terrible to see all of the bloggers not getting to blog anymore :( This will not only mess up blogger, it will also mess up Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Wikipedia, and thousands of other sites.. Make sure to tell Congress no, we need to show them that we are part of this too, its not only them. So sign the petition and I am sure if they see 10 million + people signed the petition against these bills they will understand.. hopefully.
Another update from Wikipedia is that 162 million+ had a chance to see their blackout yesterday. Hopefully that means 162 million people don't agree with this bill and will say no to congress. SOPA & PIPA
Hello,
Today this blog post about something very important that might- if passed- shut down every single blogger- not just Wizard101 bloggers all of them- and it will also make the internet different than it is today. Click the read more tab if you want to see more about this..
Ditto made a blog post about this act, and I think its very important you all do go to his site and read everything on his recent blog post: http://www.ditto.p101/2012/01/18/ditto-talks-about-sopa-and-pipa/#more-1994
In his blog post he mentions everything about these 2 acts, and everyone needs to read his post and watch his new video.
If you don't want any of the blogs shut down, including a lot of other sites millions of people suggest you go to this link and tell congress NO on sopa and pipa. https://www.google.com/landing/takeaction/

10x10x10 Contest Soon!
Hello again!
I forgot to tell the new wizards who just followed my blog about this contest I will be having very soon! I planned to have it last year, lots of things were happening so I cancelled it until the first of the year. Well its the first of the year, and I can't wait to have this contest! :) Okay click on the read more tab to see all of the information about this Contest!
1. I will be giving out 2 cards on Facebook and 2 cards on Twitter! - not going to tell what you have to do or what you did do yet.
2. I will be giving out 6 cards on my blog- this might be a easy question, or just to give them out to those supports, don't really know yet. We will see when the time comes :)
3. These are 10 dollar wizard101 gift cards, they are redeemable for 5000 crowns or a 1 month membership, If you want to spread the word about this, go ahead! I would love for others to win.
4. You don't have to follow my blog, I was going to make it to where you had to, but I changed my mind. You can if you want, it won't be a requirement like the other contests though :)
5. SOON- Don't worry! This contest will be soon, I hope you guys are ready for a big contest on ATSWEL! I hope you enjoy this contest, and hopefully there will be more contests to come during this year! :)

First Internet Safety Post of 2012
Hello Wizards,
Today's post is about internet safety and Wizard101 UK blog I think you should start reading.
I was scrolling through a very great site for Wizard101 UK, and I noticed that they had some really great rules that I think everyone should read + the great blog they have made! I really think these rules are great, and think every blogger should put something on their blog so everyone knows that the internet is not as safe as it seems. Of course its fun playing on Wizard101 and interacting with new friends, but some new friends may not be as nice as they seem- if they ask for personal information, your password, or where you live! Make sure not tell anyone that kind of information.

I am sure lots of Wizards will learn a lot from these rules, and they are great to follow so you won't lose your wizard101, or your personal information! NEVER give out personal information. Kingsisle even says on the log in screens to not give out your password or user, if you do, you will lose your wizards and you won't be able to see your wizards again.
