Hello Wizards!

Today I would like to mention this site because the other day I was listening to a podcast called Wizard101 Ramblers, and it was very funny! Usually I make posts about blogs you should visit, well you should visit this podcast and site.. I hope you do because you won't regret visiting them :)

I really am glad he mentioned it because it gave me an idea of a blog post since I haven't been blogging for awhile and I was planning on mentioning this site. Wizards Unite is a great place to sign up and become a member to interact with other members on there. Everyone should really go after that life amulet before the sale ends, if you can! A few helpful tips!

Hello Wizards!

Today I am going to make a post to help a few wizards out there that has a blog. This can even help for someone who doesn't own a wizard101 blog and still wants help. Friendly (Thomas Lionblood) really did help me a lot when I have had a few questions about my blog. If you have noticed the Blogger Navbar is gone on my blog now. I am going to help everyone get rid of that if they want in this post, and I am also going to show you guys how to get a Favicon :D


First off.. I am going to show you guys how to get rid of the Blogger Navbar. This is right above the header of your blog and below the address bar. When I had it, It was very annoying and I never knew how to get rid of it. I asked Friendly and he guided me so I could.

- To get rid of the navbar you have to log int blogger.com if you haven't already. Once you log in you have to click on design, and then edit HTML. After you do that, you have to find - Variable Definitions - Once you find it, you have to post this right above these words..

After you have posted that right above Variable Definitions, click save. Then you can look at your blog and notice that the Navbar is gone! From now on when you want to post you have to go to blogger.com and click on new post. I hope this helps everyone :)



Favicon:


This may be difficult for everyone, you will understand after awhile though... If you don't know what a favicon is and you want to have your own keep reading! If you have noticed, you will see a B for blogger right by the address bar when you are on your blog. This is a favicon (or Icon) You can make your own favicon for free. First off, you have to have a photo. If you have a photo that you would like to be placed as your icon, go to IconJ once you get there, you will notice something that says "Free Favicon Hosting".. You can upload your photo there, click on choose file. Once you find your photo, choose the sharpen level. I chose 3. Then click on upload now. You will see an option to download your new favicon, click on it. After you are done doing that, you can now go back to blogger, click on design, and you will notice something that says Favicon- and an option to edit. Click on it and upload the favicon you saved earlier on IconJ. Click on save and wait for awhile to show. It won't show right away, it will though. Look up above to see mine :) My favicon is a picture of my blog background :D I hope this helps someone that's reading :D

International Day of Awesomeness (W101 UK)

Today I went another event on Wizard101 UK! They had some fun events including hide and seek! I am very glad I did get on to see how this event was. It's really as fun as the one last time :) Last time I made it to the very end of the event though lol. I still had fun though. This one I made it an hour early!


One great thing about coming early to a big event is that you don't have to keep trying to switch realms to get to the main area. If you don't come early, it will take you awhile to get to the area or realm you want to be in. I have had times like that before! Anyways, this event was a black tie event.. I went to the event in green and no tie! :D At first I thought I was going to be the only one wearing something different, I wasn't though :D

I can't wait until another event! It's a lot of fun going to events like these on Wizard101. I am glad the moderators really do like communicating with everyone. I never met another moderator of the game until I joined Wizard101 UK and I think they are very nice. I heard from a few other wizards that they aren't during the event. If you meet them you will agree with me that they are nice, and really do like communicating with everyone. Not only are they nice and like to socialize they also are very helpful! Always remember they do a lot for the community. Thanks for reading everyone :)

Contest Winner

Yesterday I had a little contest. I had the contest for anyone wanting a few extra crowns since the new Ninja Lore pack was released. To win the contest you had to design a new wizard101 pack and to tell me your favorite thing about the new Wizard101 pack that was just released yesterday. The Winner is..... MASON SWIFTBLADE! Congratulations Mason! I will be sending your code on Facebook :) Thanks everyone for entering, I am sorry I don't have more cards to give out though, I will be having more contests soon though :)



Mason's Entry:

I would love to create a Celestia Pack. Maybe call it the Crustacean Treasure Pack? What I would want to see in it is some Crustacean Empire Themed housing! It would go gracefully with our Celestian Observatories! I would love to see some Celestia themed gear! I'm not too sure on packs but from what I know, there is a gear set for each 10 levels. If so, then it would be cool! A cool idea for a robe could be Crustacean's Leader Tunic. It would make the pack sound more rare and make it sound like wizards have retrieved the treasures of the Crustaceans and are placed in this pack! It would be cool to have some of the staffs that those Crustaceans have! They look awesome and I would love to have them on my Wizard! The reagents should be sea themed. Kelp, pearls and golden pearls, sunstone? Oooh! Oooh! And one of those Pisceans as a pet! That would be awesome as we defeat those mobs in Crustacean Empire and would be cool to see them as our pets! Maybe we could have our own mini Queen Calypso's ship as a mount? And the thing I LOVE about these new packs has to be the reward cards. It seems very cool to be able to train a card that you get in a pack. However, I hope these reward cards are rare as we don't want people going OP with these cards. My pack would cost 399 crowns. Hope I win the 5,000 crowns!






- Great Entry Mason! You completed everything to win the contest, and you designed a great new pack! I really do hope KI is reading this because this would be a great idea! Maybe they could design a pack for each world?! Oh and I think the entire pack sounds like something I would buy any day on the game! Now I really do want KI to release this Lol! Oh and that's my favorite thing about the new pack too! I am hoping the same thing, if people start using a new spell too much, it gets boring.. I am hoping its rare too! Anyways, thank you for your entry and Congratulations on winning :)
