Hello Wizards!

I am very sorry I haven't been blogging as much as I did this time last year. I am going to try to start blogging more often now :) I haven't been on Wizard101 much and that's why you haven't seen a blog post since May 23rd. I'm making a short post to talk about a few things that I am planning on doing now until the end of 2012. I will be blogging some of next year too. :)


I have a blog post that I will be making soon about the cursor on my site. That post is going to be a long/ confusing post. I hope all of you understand that post! I had a hard time trying to get a cursor on my blog and it took forever for me to finally add the cursor. I ended up having a ship (Pirate Ship) as the cursor. I will make that post soon! If you want to change your cursor, make sure you read that post!

For the rest of the year I will blog about my adventures on the game, Pirate101 Closed Beta hopefully and a few of my weird posts. I also plan on having a huge end of the year contest on my blog! I think its going to be bigger than my recent big contest where I gave away 10 Wizard101 cards! Everyone go ahead and get ready for that contest :) I can't wait to have it! I hope you enjoy that, I think I might have it closer to Winter. I guess we'll call it the End of the Year winter contest? and no... the world isn't going to end before I have the contest LOL. Since this is my last whole year here, I am going to try to make it the best one :) I hope you enjoy the next 10 months of blogging!

Pirate101 Blog? to follow!

Hello Pirates!

Most of you reading are probably waiting for a Pirate101 beta invite right? Well it might take awhile until KI sends out the beta invite emails to those who win the Pirate101 drawing. Until then, you all need to check out these great blogs down below! I posted about a few the beginning of this month.. or a few posts ago..  :D

I am really glad everyone is creating these nice Pirate101 blogs! I love reading them. I am starting to read all of them and getting excited for the release! I hope all of you get a beta invite, it may be unlikely for everyone to get one but we can only hope! Now to the blogs/ sites! I hope all of you check them out, I don't know how much wizards and pirates are reading my blog, but I hope a few of you are so you can check out this ONE blog!

This blog is a very great blog that really gets me ready for the release of P101! This blog is an official fansite (to me) I hope it does make it if P101 accepts fansites :) The creator of this blog had a Wizard101 fansite that I loved reading. She stopped blogging on that blog in August which made everyone sad.. I found out not to long ago that she made a Pirate101 blog though! Her recent blog HIAG was a great blog that everyone loved reading. If you know of her recent blog I am sure you will love reading her new blog :) Thank you Autumn for making another great blog :) I can't wait to read more of your posts as you make them!

Wizard101 Test Realm!

Hello Wizards!

Guess what! Kingsisle has open the test realm again and they have Wysteria housing! I'm excited about this new update :) The update notes have quite a few updates that they are adding. Here are a few pictures of the new Wysteria House: Villa Gardens

I am only putting three up because I would like everyone else to have a chance to look at the new house on their own! Beware!

Hello Wizards!

I usually make a lot of posts about not giving away your wizards, personal information and tips about staying safe online. Today I am going to combine all with something that I have noticed that is happening on Facebook and or Twitter.


First I am going to write about personal experience that is happening to me right now on Facebook. I am sure most of you on my Facebook list know about someone who is pretending to be me and asking people for their passwords. If this was me, why would I make dozens of posts about not giving away your password? I promise, I never have or will ask for anyone's personal information. I won't mention their name on here because I don't want to be rude to them. I am going to show you guys my TRUE Edward Lifegem profiles, if you see any other, its not me.

I have also noticed that a few friends have been going through the same thing. Some of them don't even know that's happening to them. If you are pretending to be someone else, please stop. Its not going to help you to try to be someone else or steal accounts from people. The only thing you are doing is taking something that isn't yours. If you pretend to be someone, its not you. Its simple. You can stop right now, if you keep pretending.. you won't end up with any friends. Be yourself, I am sure you will make a ton of friends no matter who you are. If you are stealing accounts, how is it helping you? The only thing it does is make you look bad in front of everyone. If were leveling on Wizard101 for years, bought more than 100,000 crowns and at least 24 months of membership and someone decided to ask you for your account and it was gone just like that, would you be upset? Of course you would! Please don't do this to everyone who doesn't know its not good to give out your password. Okay time to stop ranting! Lol. Hopefully this helps someone to stop. I will post this on my Facebook and hopefully a few people see.

Pirate101 Questions Answered!

Hello Wizards!

Kingsisle sent everyone an email yesterday giving us more information about Pirate101. I just received it today because I have been way too busy to check my email! We never really knew how much the game would cost or when the closed beta was going to be released. Now we do!


Will my Wizard101 membership work for Pirate101?


No, Wizard101 and Pirate101 are separate memberships. However, there are great ways to save if you play multiple games!

• If a single account has both Wizard101 and Pirate101 monthly memberships, each game will be at the $6.95 per month pricing that is currently considered "family pricing" in Wizard101. This means if you already have a 1 month membership for Wizard101 at $9.95 per month, you can add Pirate101 for just an additional $3.95 per month!
• If any family/linked  group of accounts has two or more 1 month memberships regardless of which games, those will be priced at $6.95 per month as well.
• For our crown players, Crowns are at an account level and can be spent in both Wizard101 and Pirate101.

Where and when can I download Pirate101?

If your account is selected for Beta you will receive instructions with your beta invitation. When Pirate101 goes live later this year, it will be available for everyone to download at no cost.

When is Closed Beta?

A closed Beta for Pirate101 will occur later this year.

Is there an Open Beta?

Currently, there are no plans to hold an open Beta.

When will I know if I can play Closed Beta?

We will make an announcement through the Pirate101 website and Facebook page before we send out Beta invitations. If your account is selected for participation in Beta testing, you will receive an official email from Kingsisle. 

How do I get selected for Closed Beta?

To enter into our Closed Beta drawing, all you have to do is login to Pirate101.com  with your existing Wizard101 account. If you're new to Kingsisle Entertainment games, register for a Pirate101 account and you're in the running!

Will Kingsisle keep working on Wizard101? 

Kingsisle remains absolutely committed to adding new systems, stories and worlds to Wizard101. In fact, we have more people working on Wizard101 than we did at launch in 2008.

I shouldn't be selfish but... x hopes I make it into Beta so I can blog about Pirate101 early x LOL! Anyways...  This arrived in my email and is a great way to get us started for Pirate101. I really can't wait until its released! They said the Closed Beta and the game itself will be released later this year. I think Beta would last a couple of months, so hopefully its not too close to the end of the year instead of later this year lol. If that made sense :) Lets hope its released earlier than expected though!
