Edward Wintergem completes Zafaria

Hello Wizards!

Well, I had a lot of time to quest on Wizard101 and I decided to quest on my ice, not Edward Firegem, my ice. I'll make a post sometime about Edward Firegem again, but that'll probably be when he defeats Avalon. Well, to get started, I had to finish the elephant graveyard. I'm not much of a hero on Wizard101 so I needed help, so many wizards offered to help me! Two of them, Autumn Dreamwalker and Chris Drakeflame helped me defeat 5 of the bosses and a dungeon in the elephant graveyard, basically the entire area! I'm very glad they helped me because they gave me the hope that I would defeat Zafaria today, after 6 months of being stuck on one quest in the elephant graveyard!

After finally completing the Elephant Graveyard, I was ready for the last dungeon of Zafaria, Mirror Lake! I was worried at first, but we had a very good team with us. I'm a noob so I had to take pictures of a the new  epic myth spell, I didn't have a chance to take a picture of the life spell though.

To skip ahead, you should know we defeated Mirror Lake! That was a lot of fun and I'm very glad I have another character that's not in Zafaria anymore. I think I'm starting to catch up a lot, it may not seem like it but you may see my ice character level 71 one moment and 80 something the next. I'll make another post when he's done with Avalon! Make sure to keep reading Edward Firegem's posts also. Oh and before I forget, here's a picture with the epic wizards that helped me defeat Mirror Lake and Zafaria!

Autumn had to go, but I'm very glad she helped me through all of this, at least 3 hours of gameplay! Thanks again everyone for helping me, make sure to watch posts for more future updates on Edward Wintergem!

Pirate101 Online Safety

Ahoy Pirates,

You probably noticed I made posts on online safety in the past, I decided to make one for Pirates only! Online Safety is very important and of course, it keeps everyone safe online. For example, if you give a stranger your ship (the best ship in the skyways), do you think they will return it? Its important you know that if you give away something it will not be returned to you! Passwords are very important also, just like a Pirate ship, you need it for Pirate101! Don't give away your password to anyone, or you won't see your Pirate again. Kingsisle warns everyone about this, and you should take their advice! Want more online safety tips? Keep reading, I have plenty :) Please share this post with all of your friends!

• Personal Information- NEVER give away your personal information to anyone on the game. This includes credit card numbers, where you live (address, city, state), your passwords, cell phone numbers, if its personal it needs to remain personal! 
• Is it too good to be true? One day you might be sailing and see someone offering free crowns or a membership for your account in return.. so they could put it on your account. They are only trying to get your account! Don't give away your account information for someone trying to take your Pirate away from you. If you're in need for items on Pirate101 like crowns, bundles or gear, make sure to watch the official fansites with great contests every month! You can also check out other great bloggers sites, make sure they aren't asking for account information though.  If you have a true friend that's offering you a gift card code, then that's also a good way to receive crowns or a membership! 
• Fake Sites and Scams- If you haven't notice, I do have contests and give away membership card codes that I get from the store to giveaway. I'm a site owner that really does giveaway prizes! Now there's other kind of sites too... Ones that ask for your password and user name, this is a one way ticket to a storm, a storm where you won't ever get your Pirate back again. One other thing you may see on Social Networks like Facebook are scams where you can get free codes and all from a generator, this is FAKE. Never trust this, like I said before, if you want to sign up for a contest, try the official Fansites! Never try to get codes from generators or fake sites that want your account info.

Pirate101 Newsletter April 2013

Ahoy Pirates,

Kingsisle released another newsletter for April! With the newsletter they reminded everyone of the Spring Pets that were released (they won't be around very long, and you'll have to wait until next year if you miss them). Also the stitching they added, very cool right? I'm glad they added it, now my pirate can really go around the Spiral looking like a hero, I'm sure you know which character I'm talking about. This month they added the Slowpoke Sloth, which goes -40% slower than walking! I really want to see this mount on the game, I'm planning on buying myself one. They cost 1,750 crowns, not bad at all for a slowpoke!

You learn more about certain characters on the game by listening to Rogue's Gallery, they've had Avery, FrogFather and now Boochbeard & Gandry with Rogue's Gallery.
