Best Dressed Contest (Pirate101)

Ahoy Pirates,

I've been thinking so much about the perfect contest. Before now, I was thinking of a raffle.. scratched that out, then favorite place in the spiral.. also scratched that out. I decided to have a Best Dressed Contest that everyone can participate in! This won't be a difficult contest at all since I love all of the gear on the game. I think it'll be a fun contest for everyone. :D

Best Dressed Contest- Contest starts today and ends on July 26th 12:00 P.M. CST

Three steps to take for the contest:

• Step 1: Get your gear together- Before you take a picture of yerself on Pirate101. Make sure ye have the gear ye want to wear. Ye can farm for gear, or just buy the gear you think is the coolest in the Bazaar. Don't spend all of yer gold.. a Pirate always needs his or her treasure! There's no need to worry about buying any gear from the crowns shop. Talents aren't needed. Its only a best dressed contest on style. How cool can ye make your Pirate look? All levels are welcomed to enter.
• Step 2: Take your picture and Submit- Once you're done finding your gear, get ready to take that picture. There's no specific places you have to take yer picture. Ye can take it anywhere ye would like to take it. Before you take yer picture, press CTRL and G. After yer done pressing that press the PRT SC key on your keyboard to take a picture. Ye'll then have a picture. After that ye'll need to email me (edwardfrostgem@gmail.com) with yer entry. Make the subject of the entry Best Dressed Contest. If ye didn't include your name in the picture, please include your name and level with the email along with the picture. I only want ONE picture. One entry per person. 
• Step 3: Do you have any questions? If ye have any questions please send the questions to edwardfrostgem@gmail.com or just comment below! I'll answer all of yer questions and will help you with any trouble yer having!
• Step 4: Wait until the contest ends- This contest starts today and ends July 26th at 12:00 P.M. CST. All winners will be announced during the afternoon. Ye can no longer enter after 12:00 P.M. CST that day. There will be a Grand Prize Winner, 1st Prize Winner, 2nd Prize Winner, Third Prize Winner and a Fourth Prize Winner (see more information below).

New Wizard101 Content (Test Realm)

Hello Wizards!

As you may have heard, Kingsisle released another new area/world on the test realm. There's not a new level cap just yet (which is great- can't wait to talk about this).. This new world comes with Gods such as Zeus! I got to fight him today. Now before I give out anymore detail.. If you would like to access the test realm so you can test out the new features that are planned to be released to the test realm.. Make sure you have bought a $10 worth of crowns or a Membership in the past 30 days so you can have access to the Wizard101 Test Realm. Once you log onto the test realm if you're level 30 or higher, speak to Cyrus Drake in the Myth Classroom for a new quest called "Quest For Glory". There are three dungeons you can participate in and they are pretty long. You'll get to participate and win nice new awards (such as wands), at levels 30+, 70+ and 90+.  Not only are there dungeons... they are also new minions for wizards higher than level 75. You can check out the test realm updates notes of the new minions and all of the other great updates by clicking on the image to the right!

Ahoy Pirates,

Yesterday I made a new pirate on Pirate101. Before I actually made the new pirate I had to ask Twitter which school they think I should make. All of the schools on Pirate101 are all great and that made it difficult for me to choose. About three pirates said Musketeer so that's the school I chose!

I'm glad I made a new pirate to quest on when I'm not blogging with Edward Cringle. I might make a few posts of his leveling but I don't have any plans to make any posts as of yet. Wizard101 and Pirate101 aren't free because....?

Hi there,

There's always questions floating around the spiral and I decided to pick one that I've seen a lot lately. Why aren't the games Wizard101 & Pirate101 free? We have to remember they are free-to-play which means free to download and play a bit. This is awesome because you get to try it out before you even have to pay for it. If you've ever bought video games, you can look at it on the internet but you can't really try it out yourself until you buy it. Sometimes after someone buys a video game (anything actually), sometimes they don't like it and that means they have to return it or deal with it. With the Kingsisle games, you get to try it out before you buy it; I'm sure everyone loves the games once they try it out because that's why this certain question is floating around because they are very nice games. I am glad they aren't free! If they were free... well they wouldn't even last a minute because they have to pay bills (I'm pretty sure the electricity bill is HIGH), they have to buy computers/hardware, all employees have to be payed so they can continue to help and improve the games. Its going to be like this for the rest of our lives because nothing will be free... well sometimes there are free things but not always! We want Kingsisle to continue many years.. decades... centuries? Millenniums? LOL Well however long it lasts... which I'm sure will last quite sometime... I'm sure one day everyone will realize why we had to pay in the first place.
