Today, our amazing community managers sent me Wizard101 codes to giveaway to you! :D Kingsisle is actually celebrating another year of Friendship Festival through February 18th at 11:59 P.M. CST. Friendship Festival Screenshot Contest:

Contest Take a Screenshot: Do you have a screenshot of your wizard with one of your friends? Take a screenshot on the game with your friends (this can be one or many friends at a party). The only other requirement is that YOU have to wear something pink or purple in the picture! :P If your friend wants to send the same picture, they have to take the picture on their account and send it my way!

Email your Screenshot: You can email your screenshot to my email address: edwardfrostgem@gmail.com  - Please include the subject "Friendship Festival Contest" and your wizard's name.

Contest Starts/Ends: This contest STARTS TODAY and ENDS ON VALENTINE'S DAY (this Sunday). Make sure to send your screenshots as soon as possible. Also, follow the rules by wearing something pink/purple. More information about what you can win is below! All entries that follow rules will be entered into a Random.Org drawing to win one of the prizes below.

Ahoy Pirates!

It's official. Pirate101 finally teased something from a new update on Falmea Friday! Falmea revealed an NPC from a new update or as many had called it... BOOK 15! Yes... Pirate101 WILL continue! I can't wait to see what Pirate101 has planned for us. You should get your pirates ready for a new update that should be coming later this year. I'm now just catching up on everything. It's already been nearly a month since I made my last blog post... I think it's time to start catching up on posts. Level 101!

Hello Wizards!

I hope you're having a great week. I can't believe my break is almost over! Next week I start school again and that means more studying. The past few semesters I've been behind on posts because I was behind on homework. I have plans to finish my homework and make Wizard101 a treat for finishing my homework for the day. :) I still want to make plenty of posts and have events (like the Winter Party on January 23rd, I hope to see you there). Lately, I've been slacking and I don't like doing that. I have still been leveling but I haven't made as many posts about my questing adventures as I would like to. You know that I've quested on my wizard over break and that has been a lot of fun!

Lately, I've been questing my ice wizard, Edward Wintergem. I've been questing through the end of Khrysalis starting in the Sardonyx and I'm nearing The Hive (an area just before the Shadow Palace). I also made it to level 101! I always wondered what spells/attacks wizards would have at level 101. It was pretty cool to hit that level after nearly seven years! He was my first wizard and it was always my plan to make sure he hit that level before any of my other wizards. My ice wizard has plenty of health and resist and I haven't had any trouble soloing the area. Many of us started soloing the game, so it wasn't anything new to me. :) That's where my ice wizard has been so far.

If you have read my ice storm posts the past few weeks, you know that I have been questing with my sister, Melissa Rainstrider. We started questing at the end of Azteca and we're currently in the Sardonyx! We quested so much the past few days that we also made it to level 101 (almost 102). :D I don't think we'll make it to level 110 before school starts but we made it a lot farther than I thought we would. I was worried we'd be stuck in the 90s for centuries, not that there's anything wrong with the 90s. Haha! I'd rather be stuck in the 2000s. Wait... where is this post going?! Anyways... we have had a lot of fun questing and I'm happy that my storm wizard, Edward Stormgem, and my sister's ice wizard also made it to that level. I think I'm going to end this post now and listen to some 2000s music.. Thank you for reading! Until next time, I'll see you around the spiral! :P

Online Safety Post: 2016

Hi there,

I haven't made an Online Safety post in a long time. I feel like the times are changing and it's time to create another post like this. I believe it's always important to follow the Online Safety tips listed below. I believe they'll guide you to the right path to stay safe online. If you know somebody that doesn't follow the rules below, please send them to this blog post! It's important that EVERYONE is safe online no matter how old they are.

1. NEVER Give Away Personal Information: Personal information can range from anything that you would consider personal: age, where you live, your phone number, credit card information, Wizard101 or Pirate101 account information. If a website asks for any personal information - don't give them information unless they're a trusted website. This does not mean you can give your user and password of Wizard101 and Pirate101 to everyone. Eventually someone will steal it no matter what they offer you. I think the main thing that has changed since I last took a post was the amount of pictures being shared with everyone. You should always remember that once you put something on the internet, it'll be there forever. Taking pictures of yourself and posting them online could also be dangerous. 
2. ASK Your Parents For Permission: Please keep that in mind before you post it on Facebook, Twitter or any other social media website. If you're under the age of 13, you should ask you parents for permission if you're about to create a social media account. It's probably unbelievable to younger wizards/pirates reading this post, but your parents do know best. IF they say no, you should listen to them and don't go behind their back and create an account anyway. They're only trying to protect you! 
3. REPORT if you're being bullied/threatened: There have been many issues around the community involving bullying. If you're being bullied on social media you can report that account to Facebook, Twitter or whatever social media website that you're on. This is very helpful. If it gets so bad that you fear your life is at stake, you should tell your parents or report it to the police. Cyber Bullying is not funny and bringing down a person below you because you feel bad about yourself is not a good thing. If you're sad, you can always talk to someone. It's not bad to talk to someone if you're sad or upset about something - please remember that.
4. REMEMBER The Online Safety Tips: I'm sure you have heard many other online safety tips while on the internet. You should follow them. If somebody tells you that everything will be okay and you shouldn't follow them.. well keep in mind that I've been on the internet since I was younger and I'm now an adult and I have been safe! Please remember to stay safe online! We always have to remember and keep our stay on the internet, safe at all times.
